Dr. Chirisse Taylor was born and raised in the New York City suburbs. From a very young age she knew she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. While chasing her dreams, Dr. Taylor has been privileged to study in some of the most prestigious institutions in the nation. After completing her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, she went on to obtain a Doctorate of Medicine from Harvard Medical School and a Master’s in Public Health from Yale University.
Fueled by a passion for women’s health, her journey turned to the Midwest for OB-GYN residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Her training culminated with a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecology and advanced pelvic surgery. Dr. Taylor has performed hundreds of complex cases treating fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, and pelvic pain using vaginal, robotic, or laparoscopic approaches.
Clinical and surgical training aside, Dr. Taylor’s greatest joy comes from caring for her patients. She has dedicated herself to improving the lives of women by providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidenced based care. Her genuine bedside manner and ability to communicate with patients places her patients at ease and empowers them to make educated decisions about their healthcare.
Dr. Taylor has been awarded for medical student teaching. She has presented her research nationally. In her spare time she organizes international medical missions which have brought her to Uganda, South Africa, and El Salvador.
